Android 12 Developer Preview for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro After resolving the bricking issue, the build has been re-released.
After the previous release bricked some users' phones, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are getting a new version of Android 12 Developer Preview (DP). Following the launch of Android 12 at Google I/O last month, OnePlus is one of the few businesses launching beta programs. After the Android 11 Developer Preview was announced for Pixel phones, OnePlus was one of the first to release it. The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are the company's most recent flagship devices, and they are presently the only two phones to receive Android 12 beta.
The latest version of Android 12 DP, according to OnePlus, is a hotfix build that resolves and fixes the difficulties presented by the previous release, according to a post on the OnePlus 9 series forum. Early in May, the firm began pushing out the first Android 12 beta update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, however many users who attempted it reported that their phones were bricked, rendering them unusable with the new OS. OnePlus then yanked the beta build, claiming that the latest release has resolved the problem.
“We're releasing a fresh Developer Preview for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro after thorough testing and verification. The report adds, "This updated version is a hotfix build that resolves the issue that caused the original version to get stuck during Factory Reset Protection (FRP) check."
