Dogecoin's Founder Says He Needs to Write Cryptographic Tweets Like Elon Musk; His Reaction Was Epic

Elon Musk tweets about a variety of topics virtually every day. Nothing escapes Musk's attention, from space and electric cars to cryptocurrencies and stocks. Michi Lumin, the inventor of Dogecoin, the meme-based cryptocurrency, tweeted earlier this week that he, too, wanted to start tweeting obtuse and ambiguous things and hope that others would understand them as coded, significant, and mysterious.

"This is already occurring with @BillyM2k [Shibetoshi Nakamoto] and of course @elonmusk [Elon Musk]," stated the Dogecoin inventor. In the next tweet, Lumin explained that his tweets will be coded and cryptic, but when decoded, they will say, "I aim to organize the world's greatest gravy collection" or "how much horsepower has a cow?"

That may have been enough for Musk to retaliate in the same way that Lumin described in his tweet. The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla just replied with numbers: "48 61 68 61 20 74 72 75 65."

Then, on the microblogging site, individuals sought to interpret Musk's message. The first reaction came from the official handle of Baby Dogecoin, a token developed by Dogecoin enthusiasts to assist in the rescue of dogs. Sharing an image of the "Hex to Ascii converter," Baby DogeCoin remarked, "Haha True," as represented by the converter after entering the figures Musk mentioned in his tweet.

Another user used the same method to decode Musk's tweet.

Shibetoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Dogecoin who is no longer involved with the project, also had something to say after being tagged in the initial tweet. "Cabbage gridlock uncle meatball," Nakamoto wrote, and no one could figure out what that meant.

A user asked Nakamoto had anything else to add, he replied: "Random gibberish."
