Krafton thanks players after Battlegrounds Mobile India surpassed 34 million players in just one week of its official launch.

 One week after its official launch on July 2, Battlegrounds Mobile India has surpassed 34 million gamers. Battlegrounds Mobile India, developed by the South Korean firm Krafton, is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, which was banned in the nation in September. The new game was revealed in May and made available to the general public earlier this month. Since then, it has reached a height of 16 million active users, and Krafton has expressed gratitude to Indian gamers for making this possible.



PUBG Mobile was banned in the nation in September of last year, and the announcement was a great disappointment for millions of gamers. Battlegrounds Mobile India was then revealed in May of this year and fans waited anxiously for the release. The game started beta on June 17 and soon thereafter all users entered early access. Now, following its formal July release, Krafton shared with 34 million gamers in their first week in a press communiqué. The company also stated that 16 million active users had experienced the game at its peak since its introduction.

Since its introduction, Battlegrounds Mobile India has attracted 2.4 million peak concurrent gamers. It is also the number one free game on Google Play, where it is currently only accessible. Krafton had a launch party on July 8 that drew around 500,000 concurrent viewers on the first day.
