Many users have reported problems opening and transmitting media on the alternative WhatsApp app on their phones. Samsung has allegedly stated that a patch will be included in a future version.

According to SamMobile, Samsung is trying to resolve an issue in which customers are unable to open media received on WhatsApp registered using its Dual Messenger. Users are also unable to send previously stored material. According to reports, the problem persists with WhatsApp version 2.21.10.16. (or later).

Users have allegedly been instructed by Samsung to forward media received on their Dual Messenger WhatsApp to their regular WhatsApp and open it from there until an upgrade is released.
