The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 has been announced, with a total prize pool of Rs. 1 crore.

 The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 has been announced, with a prize fund of Rs. 1 crore divided among the top 16 teams. Krafton issued a press statement in conjunction with the news, and the Korean firm has also established a dedicated website for the same. This is Krafton's first esports event after the July 2 release of Battlegrounds Mobile India. The company is trying to create India's esports ecosystem with different investments totaling slightly over $30 million (approximately Rs. 223 crores) thus far.



Registration for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 will begin on July 19 and will continue for three months. There will be five stages: in-game qualifying, online qualifying, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and grand finals. The In-Game Qualifiers will begin on August 2 and will go through August 8. The online qualifiers will begin on August 17 and will conclude on September 12. The Quarter Finals will take place from September 16 to September 26. The Semi-Finals will be held between September 30 and October 3, with the Grand Finals beginning on October 7 and concluding on October 10.


Players who have registered for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 will be required to play 15 matches with their registered team during the In-Game Qualifiers, according to Krafton. The best ten matches will be evaluated, and the top 1,024 teams will be picked to advance to the next round. 64 teams will be chosen from the Online Qualifiers to advance to the Quarter Finals. In this round, 24 teams will advance to the Semi-Finals, where 16 will advance to the Grand Finals.


The prize money of Rs. 1 crore will be divided among the top 16 teams as follows:


First — Rs. 50,00,000

Second — Rs. 25,00,000

Third — Rs. 10,00,000

Fourth — Rs. 3,00,000

Fifth — Rs. 2,00,000

Sixth — Rs. 1,50,000

Seventh — Rs. 1,00,000

Eighth — Rs. 90,000

Ninth — Rs. 80,000, and so on

There are further awards for various accomplishments. The tournament MVP will get Rs. 1,000,000, the Lone Ranger Rs. 50,000, The Rampage Freak Rs. 50,000, the squad with the most finishes Rs. 50,000, and The Redeemer Rs. 50,000.


To compete in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021, participants must be based in India and have a Platinum level or above on their account. In the event of a tie in the In-Game Qualifiers, criteria such as finishes, survival time, accuracy, and so on will be taken into account.
