The official Twitter handle of AIMIM has been hacked, and the name has been changed to Elon Musk.

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Twitter account was hacked for the second time in nine days on Sunday. However, AIMIM's Twitter handle has been reinstated.

Hackers altered the AIMIM's handle's profile photo to one of SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The rich business magnate's name has also been altered.

According to reports, this is the second time the AIMIM's official Twitter feed has been hacked. Following the initial occurrence nine days ago, the party sent a letter to the Twitter India headquarters requesting that the matter be investigated.

Officials from the party have written to Twitter India once more. A answer is expected.

Twitter India recently recruited a resident grievance officer, only days after naming a chief compliance officer, in order to comply with new IT regulations in the nation, despite disagreements with the government.

On Sunday, the website of the US social media corporation revealed Vinay Prakash as the new grievance officer, complete with his contact information and methods for users to report suspected infractions of the company's rules and regulations.

Twitter informed the Delhi High Court earlier this month that it will hire an interim grievance officer to comply with the new regulations. It had also said that a final appointment for the post will be held in eight weeks.

The IT laws, which went into force at the end of May, are aimed at controlling social media material and requiring businesses to respond more quickly to legal demands to delete posts and share information on message originators.
